The aims of the IGS Iran Chapter are to collect and promote the knowledge of geosynthetics and their engineering applications. This will be provided by facilitating national and international webinars, conferences, symposiums, short courses, and research developments by Iranian researchers. These activities will promote the advancement of the state of the art of geosynthetics and will improve the communication and understanding of geosynthetic products between designers, manufacturers, contractors, and users of the products.
